Envisioning
Sustainability, a collection of essays,
manifestos, interviews, presentations and poems by Planet Drum founder
and director Peter Berg. $14.99
“Berg’s genius includes being a very funny
performing artist, a poet, and a visionary with the capacity to
articulate his vision passionately, practically, and distinctly. Envisioning Sustainability is a collection of his essays, talks,
diatribes, and articles which have helped to define the bioregional
movement since the early 1970s.”—Joyce Marshall, Realistic
Living, A Journal on Ethics and Religion
"It’s a
forty-year compendium of some of the profoundest ecosocial thinking to
date concerning what are…environmental problems. Here you will find
the outlines of lifeways that could return our species to diverse,
place-located, long haul biotic flourishing."--Stephanie Mills,
author of Whatever Happened to Ecology?

Arte Papel is a small women's paper recycling association in the coastal town of
Bahia de Caraquez, Ecuador. After the combined devastating effects of EL Nino and the
earthquake of 1998, about 30 mothers and housewives began working together to increase
their families income while producing an eco-friendly product. This product is
handmade with care, using natural fibers and natural colorants. such as banana plant
fiber, cotton, yucca flour, corn husk fiber, aloe, achiote, coffee, and tea. It is
decorated with natural, pressed flowers. Thank you for supporting the women of Arte
Papel and for purchasing an ecologically sound product. Arte Papel
belongs to the Center for Environmental Education in Bahia.
